I got a belly ache
So I went to bed early
after 18 miles
and snuggled up
We woke up and saw this
WOW!
5 star hotel.
With a view
Making water
Cooking eggs
Coffee
and energy for a day
Wide wide views
Big big land
Alaska Range
Is awe-awe-awesome
Down a bluff
into the Kahiltna River Valley
Over many a
WHOOPDIEDOO
We make it to the flats, that took some effort staying on our feet!
Our friend SURPRISED Us!
She tracked our "goodnight" GPS Ping, and found me in the wild.
Surprise surprise!
Tracking Wild Things
Am I in heaven?
Is this reality?
That I may gaze upon such a wonderful world
Such glamour
A setting sun
Says Goodnight
Colors so brillantly bright
Those clouds brought wind
That almost pushed me over!
Yet the wind got into Gale and awakened within her a spirit
She was revitalized in the wind
With strength redoubled, she pulled me and she remains the Gale who took me, and not this stranger of a gale.
With an evening glow, Forarker shines
Gale ran me 48 miles
I said Gale, lets stop!
She nodded and we set up shop
Shes the queen
My heart and soul
Galatic Gale
Keeping one eye on me, always.
